Smart Works was founded by Mr. Muralidhara Hegde who is also the CEO of the studio. He holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Art and PG Diploma in advertising & PR; Marketing and Sales Management. He has worked in Ad agencies such as JWT and LOWE Worldwide (Lintas), Bangalore, in their creative functions for over a decade before starting Smart Works. He was an esteemed visiting faculty member at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath - Advanced Studies, Jain University and few other Universities and was a member, Board of Studies, Bangalore University.

Smart Works was incorporated in the year 1990, with 7 people, as a dedicated studio for Lowe Worldwide (Lintas), Bangalore. Smart Works now has a team of over 60 experienced professionals, housed in 4,500 sft. of space, providing studio services to leading advertising agencies and clients in Bangalore.
If there is a Studio Production unit that I need to trust blindly, it will any day be Smart Works. For 25 years that I have known them, they have never failed to deliver with clockwork precision and perfection. Their integrity and commitment to what they do is laudable.
They have evolved over time too, much beyond pure static studio production. Some of the video animation work they have done for us have gone viral. That speaks volumes of their capability.
